John lived with his father and his step mother but ran away to the streets when he was no longer allowed to attend school.  John lived on the streets for 3 years, until he came to live at the New Life Homes.  He is a reserved boy who would like to be a lawyer in the future.

Since January 2007 Abaana has been supporting street children in Kampala. We play games, tell bible stories, give basic medical care, and provide a good meal.
