Godffrey ran away from home due to a difficult family situation.  He spent 3 months sleeping on the streets, before coming to live at the New Life Homes.  Godfrey is now on an apprenticeship program as a mechanic.

 This is what he said to our social worker:

‘Uncle is it a dream? Soon I want to come to the New Life Homes to check on my brothers but that is when I have a Job. I thank Abaana for helping me.’

Since January 2007 Abaana has been supporting street children in Kampala. We play games, tell bible stories, give basic medical care, and provide a good meal.
